testing out my new film camera
I got on the road for a weekend camping trip with my new 35mm Nikon FM and a roll of Kodak ultramax. I did forget to take my cutting board and knife to cook my food.
I stopped on the side of the road to take a photo to show my Tim Hortons dark roast with one cream. It’s been an old enough tradition that I go through a Tims drive through when I hit the road, I thought I have to document it.
While I was composing the first frame, I noticed an older generation of my car passing by. It was the perfect photo. Perfecting the composition would not add enough value for me to forego of the moment. CLICK!!
This trip was unplanned and one of the most relaxing camping trips I’ve ever done. I spent hours on my hammock reading, falling a sleep, waking up, and falling a sleep again until it got dark.
It had been a long time since I used a film camera. I truly enjoyed the process.
